WALK IS SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF EVENING AND WEEKEND
COMMUNITY CONNECTOR (PART-TIME), TO JOIN OUR WALK DAY SUPPORTS TEAM.
The purpose of this role is to provide support to an individual taking
part in WALK?s Day support services to enable them to build a
lifestyle and live their life as part of their chosen community.
The role is based on clear principles of supporting people to make and
exercise choice and marks an innovative and forward-looking departure
from the traditional Day Services models.
WORKING HOURS: 8 hours per week which includes two evenings (2 hours
each) and 4 hours on Saturdays. Flexibility of these hours will be
decided based on the service user?s choice and facilitation of
his/her goals.
LOCATION: Blackrock, Dublin. Working with the individual currently
living in WALK?s catchment area and including any locations which
will facilitate choice & goals (primarily Dublin).
